Call recording may require you to comply with the legal guidelines and regulations stated in your local, province, or country laws. So you may need to play a legal announcement to meet those requirements before recording phone calls. A voice modem can be used to play this announcement automatically. Besides, the voice modem also requires a vendor-supplied driver. You should install the modem hardware on your computer, run its driver setup software before the first use of your new voice modem. For incoming calls, the voice modem can send call details to the computer just as the phone recording adapter so all incoming calls can be automatically recorded.
